With the changes to the campaign finance rules for this BC civic election, you may not get a rack card in your home mail box – in the 2014 election I got 5,000 out over six municipalities with a little help (a lot!) from my friends, but this year 1,000 for handing out at all candidates meetings may be the limit. Maybe this is a good thing.
But to compensate, I may double my campaign signs this time, from 3 in 2014 to 6 this time 🙂
All the issues facing SD61 and its Board in the coming years could not fit on one card. And more will arise; they always do.
If you want to ensure principled voting and accountability, my name will be on the ballot in View Royal, Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, Highlands, and Saanich.
I very much appreciate the Victoria Labour Council‘s endorsement.
January 12, 2015, Operations Policy and Planning Standing Committee: McNally: That the Board direct the Superintendent to conduct research examples, costs and processes for establishing a Strategic Plan, and report back to the Board with preliminary information at the earliest OPPS meeting possible./ Carried. Unanimous.
I hope to see you at an all candidates meeting soon!
