Parent presenter: I would like to thank the Board Chair and Trustees for allowing me the opportunity to address this meeting. I have two issues I would like to discuss which concern the District PAC. The first is in regards to the status of the DPAC during Board Meetings and second is in concern of funding of Parent Education events.
“The Board of Education of School District No. 61 (Greater Victoria) respectfully requests that the Honourable Minister of Finance support all three of the recommendations of the Standing Committee’s report and commit the resources necessary to provide school districts with the tools and facilities needed to provide high quality public education to BC’s youth.”
